Presonus INSPIRE Audio Interface
The PreSonus INSPIRE 1394 FireWire Audio Interface is a FireWire recording system featuring professional quality 24-bit/96kHz A/D/A conversion for extremely clear, dynamic sound.
The INSPIRE 1394 gives you four simultaneous inputs. These include two XLR jacks with custom PreSonus preamps and switchable phantom power. The mic and instrument preamps are designed for ultra-low noise, high gain, preamplification of all types of microphones and instruments.
Two Hi-Z 1/4" instrument inputs and two selectable line/phono jacks on the back panel have a switchable RIAA filter, making them perfect for DJs and vinyl owners converting LPs to digital. Outputs include RCA unbalanced and mini TRS jacks plus a headphone jack. Up to four INSPIRE 1394s can be daisy-chained for up to 16 simultaneous inputs.
A software control panel gives you control over all vital parameters including: input gain, phantom power, limiter (off/on), preamp boost (off/on), sample rate, headphone volume, main output volume, and zero-latency input mixing with playback mixing. The software control panel also serves as a mixer between you and your computer playback and your inputs for zero latency recording.
Cubase LE recording and production software is included with the INSPIRE 1394, featuring 48 audio tracks, 96 MIDI tracks, VST plug-ins, and full VSTi support. Cubase LE is upgradeable to Cubase SX or Nuendo, Steinberg's premier audio production software.

KRK RP-5 Studio Monitors
The KRK RP-5 Rokit Powered Reference Studio Monitor features a 5" woofer made of a woven glass aramid composite for a tight low-end response. 1" soft-dome tweeter emits natural sounding highs. The RP-5 drivers are electronically crossed over and biamped for increased efficiency. All of this is housed in an attractive KRK cabinet with radiused corners that reduce edge diffraction, resulting in better audio imaging. The monitor's rear input panel has RCA, 1/4" TRS, and XLR connectors.
Digital Reference DR-CX1 Condenser Microphone The Digital Reference DR-CX1 studio condenser mic captures the nuances of voice and instrumental sound sources and features high SPL handling. The DR-CX1's custom 16mm diaphragm has excellent response across the audible frequency spectrum plus extended dynamic range. Its cardioid polar pattern offers good directionality and isolation, and responds well with proximity effect allowing a singer to work the mic for outstanding performances. It's also a good choice for bass and drum miking with its fast transient response. A pivoting, threaded stand mount attaches securely for easy and precise placement. 40Hz-20kHz frequency response.
Sennheiser HD-280 Headphones
Closed-back, circumaural headphones designed for professional monitoring applications. Up to 32dB external sound attenuation good for noisy environments, live shows, and DJ apps. Rugged design and optimum sensitivity these babies are LOUD! Smooth frequency response from 8Hz-25kHz. Collapsible earcups make it easy to stow. Ear pads, headband, padding, and cable are easily replaceable.
