TASCAM DP-01FX/CD Hard Disk Recorder
The TASCAM DP-01FXCD 8-Track Hard Disk Recorder features the one-knob-per-function design that has made TASCAM cassette Portastudios the choice of thousands of musicians. It shatters the confusing page-shift-menu interface found in most other digital recorders.

The DP-01FX digital recorder has 2-1/4" TRS mic/line inputs, 2 phantom-powered XLR microphone inputs for connecting condenser mics, plus a guitar-level input. Its 8 tracks record at uncompressed CD quality to an internal 40GB hard drive, and a stereo master track is available for recording a mix. Each channel on the recorder has a 45mm volume fader, plus dedicated controls for pan, effects send, high EQ, and low EQ. An LCD display shows meters, audio editing settings, and locate points. It has a USB 2.0 jack for file backup and transferring mixes to a computer. There are analog RCA line outputs, a headphone out and S/PDIF line output.

The DP-01FX also has a multi-effects processor for adding effects to an instrument during recording and a reverb processor for adding effects during a mix. The onboard CD burner makes backups and mastering a snap.

M-Audio StudioPro 3 Monitors
These active monitors feature generous built-in amplification, custom-tuned cabinets, optimized speaker design, and advanced crossover technology for the best possible sound. Magnetic shielding prevents interference with your computer and video monitors.

Stereo Auxiliary Input and Headphone Output
For maximum flexibility, a stereo aux input allows you to plug in a secondary audio source (such as your portable music player) in addition to the main RCA inputs in the back. The volume control works on both inputs simultaneously. Additionally, there is a stereo headphone output next to the aux jack that mutes the sound coming out of the speakers and redirects it to your headphones.

Natural Bass
The custom bass reflex port design discharges very low-frequency signals and delivers a smooth, substantial bass response. Need more? The rear-panel bass boost gives you additional low-frequency gain and makes the monitors versatile for different spaces and listening preferences.

Enclosure
Provides a more stable performance with a special medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and unique interior reinforcement designed to absorb vibration and impact generated under extreme conditions. Includes carefully placed acoustic material that makes the StudioPro 3's sound much bigger than they are-resulting in a smooth, natural bass response.

990/MXL 991 Recording Microphone Package
The MXL MXL 990/MXL 991 Recording Mic Package is a 2-microphone kit with the latest in MXL's range of studio condenser microphones. The 990 has silky, sweet high end and a tight solid bass, perfect for recording vocals. The 991 is a superior instrument microphone designed for recording acoustic guitar and drum overheads. Both have gold-sputtered diaphragms (20mm) creating a professional sound perfectly suited for digital and analog recording. The MXL MXL 990/MXL 991 Recording Mic Package includes a high-impact carrying case and mic stand adapters.

Audio-Technica ATH-M40fs Studiophones
Audio-Technica's premium professional studiophones offer a flat, extended frequency response for professional studio monitoring. Superior components provide very high SPL capabilities while maintaining exceptional clarity of sound. Exterior design features include sturdy strain-relief cable and comfortable circumaural earpieces that can be rotated 180 degree to permit one-ear monitoring. The studiophones utilize 40-millimeter drives with neodymium magnets and copper-clad aluminum wire voice coils for lowest mass. They are equipped with an 11-foot cable terminated in a standard 1/4-inch connector. This field-serviceable model allows elements, cables, and earpads to be replaced in the field if needed.
