Toms and the bass drum are constructed of 100% poplar with a tough and attractive covered finish. The snare drum is composed of solid steel. The drums are outfitted with Imperialstar lugs, bass drum spurs, tom holder, snare strainer, and thicker drum heads on batter side. The Tama Standard drum kit also includes improved German-made cymbals, the Stagemaster hardware series, and an HT25 drum throne.
