  Alesis MultiMix 16 FireWire 16-Channel Analog Mixer
  The rackmountable Alesis MultiMix 16 FireWire 16-Channel Analog Mixer is a dual-purpose unit: it's a FireWire interface with real faders, knobs, and EQ, and it's also a rockin' standalone analog mixer with quality Alesis effects and flexible signal routing. Each input channel on the mixer (plus the stereo mix) is sent into your computer and a stereo output is received from the computer for monitoring. Its versatility will fit your needs in your project studio, for live sound, portable recording with a laptop, sub mixing, and radio/TV production.
  
  You get preamps with XLR and 1/4" balanced ins and phantom power on mono channels; balanced 1/4" ins, aux send, and stereo aux return on stereo channels; 28-bit effects; 3-band EQ on each channel; 1/4" balanced main and monitor outs; a headphone jack; and 24-bit, 44.1/48kHz A/D/A conversion. Steinberg Cubase LE is included.

  The MultiMix uses the same A/D and D/A conversion as the esteemed Alesis HD24 recorder clean, pure, and totally professional conversion.
  
  FireWire technology
  
  The MultiMix uses the high-performance TC Applied Technologies Dice II FireWire chip. Superior clocking, state-of-the-art interfacing, and robust drivers all come standard! Plus, it has 100 of Alesis' 28-bit digital effects built in. Reverbs, choruses, delays, and other effects can be mixed into your recording path or just used for zero-latency headphone mixes (the performer hears reverb in the headphones, but the track is recorded dry into the computer).
  
  Alesis ProLinear 720 2-Way Active Studio Monitors
  The Alesis ProLinear 720 2-Way Active Studio Monitor provides 120W of outstanding clarity, imaging, and transient response with tight and visceral bass. The exceptional custom LF driver features a cast frame, a stiff 7" Kevlar cone, and an oversized magnet assembly that provides high linearity and good efficiency. Excellent shielding allows it to be used in close proximity to CRTs, perfect for computer-based studios. Biamplified power provides 80W to the woofer and 40W to the ferrofluid-cooled, 28mm silk-dome tweeter. Distortion is typically below 0.3% over its operating range. A bicolor LED on the front baffle indicates power-on when green and amplifier clipping when red.

  The MXL MXL 990/MXL 991 Recording Mic Package is a 2-microphone kit exhibiting MXL's range of studio condenser microphones. The 990 has silky, sweet high end and a tight solid bass, perfect for recording vocals. The 991 is a superior instrument microphone designed for recording acoustic guitar and drum overheads. Both have gold-sputtered diaphragms (20mm) creating a professional sound perfectly suited for digital and analog recording. The package includes a high-impact carrying case and mic stand adapters.
